Wigs and Pieces.com was the idea of Angela Usher who once held the title of British Hairdressing Champion and represented the United Kingdom at the World Championships in Rotterdam and the European Championships in Paris. She was an International Juror and trained the British Junior Team using mannequin heads, and created hairpieces for the competitions.
but now this business www.wigsandpieces.com & www.internetwigs.com takes up all of her time.

Her family started a hairdressing business in 1930 in the city of Hull East Yorkshire and is still practicing today. She has been in the hairdressing business for over forty years.
Angela did her apprenticeship in the 1960’s when wigs and hairpieces were hand made and every week they were used on clients as part of the fashion era. The hairpieces had to be cleaned and re-dressed each week, postiche was an integral part of the apprenticeship.
What makes the Wigs & Pieces web site different from other wig web sites is that Angela, her family and her consultants have the experience to advise you which wig or hairpiece to choose from.

Meet 'The Team':
Angela: M.D Head Consultant As said previously, Angela is passionate about the care for her clients/patients. Her 40 year experience is invaluable and always tries to supply excellent service and understanding. She always has fresh ideas and looks to the future for new fashionable and quality products.
Katy: Director Katy is the Artistic director and company secretary, she has vision, insight and is the creative force at Wigs and Pieces. Katy advises on high fashion, current trends and is essential to our team.
Adelle: Shareholder Adelle is responsible for the content and copyright of the website. Her ideas, layouts and fashionable eye for the total-look of the website is shared with Kate and other members of the team. Adelle & Leigh the designer, advise all the time on the progression of the website.
Teresa: General Manager Teresa is a former hairdresser, therefore understands the shadings and is always on hand to help 'listen and care' for clients who needs advice, whether for Alopecia or Cancer problems, as she 'has been there'. She is the General Manager and the diamond in our team - (wearing Glam it Up hairpiece)
Kathryn: Assistant Manager Kathryn who also is a fully-trained hairstylist used to work for Goldwell, an International Hair cosmetic company, now with her experience, her patience and understanding we are delighted that Kathryn is one of our great consultants. Kathryn is wearing Angelica in Nutmeg by Noriko.
Mandy: Administrator Mandy joined us in November 07 and is responsible for the daily orders and making sure the customers are notified of any delays. If you have any queries regarding your order, Mandy, with her kind, gentle manner will contact and help you. Mandy's responsibilities is to make sure, you, our customer is dealt with in a professional, caring way.
Kalina: Despatch - Returns & Despatching Kali joined us in February 08 and is responsible for our goods in despatch. If you have any queries regarding your order, Kali, with her gentle way will help you with any matter youmay be concerned with. Kali is our newest member of the team.
Andrew: Web Developer Andrew's contribution to the success of the business is vital, he works constantly on the website as our developer and IT consultant.
